Earlier today the following announcement was posted on Superintendent Tom Luna's Facebook page. I guess it's "back to the chalkboard" for modernizing public education in Idaho!
Today, Superintendent Luna proposed--and the State Board approved--that the current online course requirement be removed from high school graduation requirements. State Board members said they are committed to continuing the conversation with educational stakeholders about digital learning to ensure all students graduate from Idaho high schools prepared to go on to postsecondary education and the workforce. More information to come soon.
