Dustin Hurst reports that Idaho's second district congressman, Mike Simpson has said he "wouldn't have a problem" with increasing taxes because "elections have consequences." Apparently, even though Idaho is one of the most Republican states in the nation, Simpson is taking his cues from the national majority of leeches rather than from his own constituents.
What Simpson seems to be forgetting is why he was reelected and sent back to D.C. — to STOP the obama agenda! The House has the power to stop the President's schemes dead in their tracks, and that is exactly what Simpson should be endeavoring to do. Block funding to obamacare; block ANY tax increases of any kind. Hold the line and refuse to cooperate with any further destruction of this country.
Yes, Congressman, elections DO have consequences, and the consequences are that obama and his sycophants LOST the House so now they get NOTHING! That is, of course, unless people like you surrender to them and allow them to complete their oh-so-intentional act of turning the USA into a socialist hell.
Any politician—at any level of government—who ever votes for a tax increase should be thrown out of office and should receive the condemnation of all who consider themselves defenders of freedom. There is never an acceptable justification for raising taxes. NEVER!
