JURY NULLIFICATION and JURY REVOLUTION – The Sleeping Giant
If you want to know why government is out of control, too big, corrupt, abusing power and people, taxing and wasting and stealing trillions of dollars. If you wonder why more and more freedom stealing laws are being constantly laid on you, your business, and your whole life. It is because of two primary reasons: Because you and I and everyone else has been failing to be effective citizens. We thought that voting was all we had to do. Then when politicians betrayed us we thought that merely complaining to politicians was all we had to do. Well, we were wrong, there is much more that citizenship requires. There is much more that protecting freedom for our children and grandchildren demands.
As citizen activists, even as Tea Party members, we have often continued the pattern of complaining about government and talking about what the government is doing to us, is going to do to us... This kind of talking makes most listeners cynical, pessimistic or despondent. Only talking about what our political enemies and government bureaucrats will do to us – with never a mention or even a thought about what we can do to them leads to defeatism and quitting. We have also fallen into the habit of "playing defense" only. That is, we were always letting the enemies of freedom set the agenda, define the vocabulary of the debate and have their goals that they achieved one after another. But we had no goals and no agenda other than to try and stop them! We had no goal other than to desperately try to hold on to ever shrinking freedoms! This is "defense only" and it is only for losers. As citizen activists most people forgot that being on offense is how you win – at sports, at war or at anything else, especially winning back our freedoms from an out of control government.
Being on offense means that we have our own goals, we have our own vision for the future and we work towards it. Being on offense means we focus on the weaknesses of the enemies of freedom and we attack them there. Being on offense also means we find our power and we begin to use it. Being on offense means we have a new and confident attitude, a winning attitude. We have an attitude that this is our country and we can have it be any way we want – if we will work to make it happen. If we will work smart, by finding and using our power and not stopping till we have won – till we have smashed tyranny and socialism and communism in our nation.
There is a power that we have – that we have always had – that is far, far greater than our power to vote. Our failure for almost a century to remember and use that forgotten, hidden, (covered up and lied about!) power is the second reason government has exploded into a huge parasite and predator upon honest and hardworking people. JURY NULLIFICATION is that power, along with the even greater power of the citizen controlled (not prosecutor manipulated) Grand Jury. Our two juries amount to a de-facto 4th Branch of Government – made up of the people themselves.
Jury nullification or jury veto power refers to the juror's right and power to vote not guilty even when the defendant admits he broke the law – because the jury believes the law itself is wrong; the law itself is repugnant for a free people to live under or for other similar reasons of conscience and common sense. Recently focus has been on obamacare and dictatorial gun laws. These laws can be eliminated with jury nullifications. But there are many, many other examples of laws crying out to be eradicated by jury nullifications. Scores of criminals and scandals in government or out – like the banking bailouts, the IRS thugs cry out to be indicted by our Grand Juries. We can have all of this, if we will do the work and make it happen.
Jury nullifications make hated laws unenforceable and thus make entire government agencies irrelevant and impotent. Jury nullifications peacefully "kill" bad laws and eradicate bad government. Jury nullification brings about a beneficial attitude adjustment in people. By only knowing about jury nullification and knowing it well and confidently you will realize that you are above the government, you will remember that government is created by the people and works for the people. This is the attitude you need to be an effective and powerful citizen who can help defeat the tyranny and stupidity of the socialists and communists.
SOME HISTORY:
In the English and later American tradition, trials by jury were first introduced with Magna Charta in 1214. Inherent within trial by jury is the power of the jury to refuse to convict even when jurors knew the "law" was broken, because the jurors did not like the law itself. At the time of Magna Charta, it was a capital offense to poach a rabbit on the king's forest. There were many such draconian laws centuries ago and trials by jury wiped them out, long before any King or House of Lords officially repealed them.

The Tea Party groups and members of Idaho are going into the "jury education business" and are going to create a peaceful "Jury Revolution". That simply means we are going to tell – educate – a critical mass of our fellow citizens about jury nullification and how to successfully use it. We are also going to tell our fellow citizens about judges who commit the crimes of jury tampering and juror intimidation and other crimes. We have found a major "Achilles' Heel" of the enemies of liberty and the enemies of America and we are going to attack - by using our freedom of speech and telling the truth. We are going to tell the truth about judges and prosecutors who lie and betray the people. We need no new laws and no help from timid or sold out politicians to get this done. It is our right, our sacred duty and our privilege to create a jury revolution. Come and join us and you will see and feel for yourself what a privilege this is for you also. There are many ways to participate and something for everyone to do.
We are going to smash the choke-hold that the lawyer mafia has upon government. Every flier we hand out, every call to talk radio, every email we send, every sign we carry will weaken the judges and all the lawyer mafia. And also weaken the wealthy special interests and sleazy lobbyists who turned our public servants into their dupes and prostitutes.
We are going to "inspire" many jury nullifications in courtrooms across the state. Some of those cases will probably go into the history books of the future, for they will have changed the course of America for the better.
"PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE"
A jury nullification is pretty much the worst possible thing that can happen to a judge, to a prosecutor, to a cop, to a bureaucrat. They observe the calamity humiliation of a jury nullification happening to their peers and are terrified of one happening to them. That is why they will often stop prosecuting the unpopular law sooner rather than later. Long before bad laws are officially repealed, they will be dead. They were killed by jury nullifications.
THE GRAND JURY
The second stage of the jury revolution will be the people regaining control of the Citizen Grand Jury – which was hijacked or stolen by the lawyer mafia over 100 years ago. A couple of laws that regulate grand juries are going to have to be changed and we will eventually and easily gain the power to change those laws. When we get back the grand jury, we are going to USE IT to indict and put on trial all criminals in government, in corporations, in banks – can you say "bail out". Anywhere there is crime, and there is criminal activity in all the current scandals of the obama regime, the grand jury can indict and put on trial the guilty parties. Please add to what you study and learn the real grand jury. The power of the grand jury is even greater than the power of jury nullification. It is just not available yet. We will change that.
NATIONAL IMPACT
Tea Party members and groups in Idaho are also going to have a national and even international impact. This will happen by means of publicity that we generate nationwide. We will be in contact with all other tea parties and all other natural allies we have in every state. These will include friendly media outlets, websites, bloggers, columnists, talk radio hosts – national and big city local shows, other citizen organizations like gun rights groups, natural healing advocates, obama care alternatives and more. We need members who are willing to work to find these folks, their contact info and then send out emails we will give you.
Our goal is to inspire and help to jump start jury revolution in all states. We do not need all states in action to win, but that is our goal.

- In 1670 all of England was given Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Assembly by a single jury trial – The William Penn / Quaker trial in London. In a related affair the jury itself gained the right to nullify bad laws, not just the power to do so, since that trial was the last time in history that a jury was punished for their verdict, no matter how angry the judge was about it.
- In 1735 in the American Colony of New York, at the John Peter Zenger trial, all of the British Colonies in America were given absolute Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. Before the Zenger trial it was a felony in America to speak or print criticism of the colonial government. Just what bureaucrats are trying to do today.
- In the 1850's juries nullified the Fugitive Slave Laws and were making slavery economically unviable.
- In the 1880's - 1890's juries nullified laws that prohibited leaders of industrial labor unions from calling for strikes. These jury nullifications gave American Unions the right to strike.
- In the 1920's jury nullifications killed the prohibition of alcohol and ended the failed experiment and crime wave and corruption of governments that was the prohibition era.
