Agenda 21

GUEST POST by Karen Schumacher —

I have heard many people state that they do not have time, don't care, don't want to know and doesn't affect me for what is happening in politics. But there comes a time when things are happening so fast and so much one must stop and ask " what the heck is going on?" And if you don't like what is happening you can be either part of the solution or part of the problem. It is a choice that we must eventually take. Right now you have that choice, but someday that may not be the case.

Overview of Agenda 21:
  1. Unveiled in 1992 at the United Nations Rio Earth Summit.
  2. 178 nations adopted Agenda 21 and pledged to evaluate progress made in implementing the plan every five years thereafter.
  3. President George H. W. Bush signed for the United States.
  4. Congress never authorized the implementation of Agenda 21.
  5. In 1993, President Bill Clinton established, by Executive Order 12852, the President's Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) for the purpose of implementing Agenda 21 in the United States.
  6. The PCSD operated through 1999, but its actions to promote Sustainable Development have taken root, and now exert an increasing influence across America.
  7. Agenda 21 is comprised of 40 Chapters.

The U.N., and its accredited Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), generally consider Sustainable Development and Agenda 21 to be synonymous. There are thousands of NGOs operating in the United States. Non-profit organizations also serve to promote Agenda 21 goals.

This political agenda embodied in Sustainable Development has been implemented through every agency and legislation in America. Taxpayer dollars fund the UN and NGO operations, not only in America, but across the world. Agenda 21 steals liberties, land, and American rights. The authors of Agenda 21 have said it will affect every area of life, grouped according to four objectives:

Education = Indoctrination into believing that nature is more important than man and the group is more important than the individual. The new purpose of education is to learn values not facts. Students must become global, not American citizens.

Equity = Theft of private property, open borders, remove God, morality and responsibility, civil society, social justice.

Economy = Redistribution of America's wealth to foreign countries by outsourcing jobs, factories and technology creating massive unemployment.

Environment = Nature is more important than man. The new god is Mother Earth. Phony science creates phony regulations destroying energy independence and Industry.

Each policy and regulation is in place to control more and more of your life. The primary goal of Agenda 21 is to create "human settlements" of dense populations under the pretense of "sustainability" by promoting environmental causes. Over the last 20 years federal, state, and local governments have promoted Agenda 21 goals through environmental laws under the influence of NGOs and non-profit organizations. Agenda 21 has been systematically implemented in all areas of American life. Through "Private- Public Partnerships" (PPP) the government, at all levels including federal, state, and local, has been moving towards corporatism which destroys representation of the people and free market, leaving large corporations, and the government, to implement Agenda 21 goals.
